Nope tried a number of linux OS’s off of this site and nothing works ie I get the same result….Me thinks the problems I had with hanging up in the browser is probably hardware.
If I can pick one up cheap enough I’ll see if I can load up on a good bit of kit, at least that would assure me I’m carrying the right procedure.

When I try the restore i get

open input no such file or directory.
With a bit of gobble de gook and the system restarts to a hung elonex splash screen, any ideas i’d love to get my little laptop working again.
