NEdit
Description:
NEdit is a multi-purpose text editor which combines a standard, easy to use, graphical user interface with the thorough functionality and stability required by users who edit text eight hours a day. More info @ Nedit.org
How to install:
1. Download the .info and .patch files below and save them both in the ‘download’ folder on your laptop, or download and save them on a USB stick / SD card, put this in your laptop and copy the files to the ‘download’ folder. It’s crucial that the .info and .patch file are in the same folder.
2. Start the ‘Software Installer’ program on the 4th screen of the desktop (use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to switch screens).
3. Click the ‘Add’ button. A dialog screen will open.
4. Search the ‘nedit-R3-01(20080811).info’ file and click ‘Open’. The patch will be installed. Click finish.
5. Now, if everything has gone right, a Nedit icon will be on the 2nd desktop screen. Click it and enjoy!
